Stalls & Shavings

Stalls will be assigned after those who attend set-up pick their stalls.

Stalls will be assigned by barns and species.

801-797-1430 call BAC for shavings, make payment in office. No outside shavings allowed on property.

RV spots at the show

Overnight stay and hook-up is available in conjunction to the livestock show. Please call the BAC at 801-797-1430 to pay for your overnight stay. You will only be allowed to park in your designated spot, you will be asked to move if you're blocking another exhibitor or in your incorrect location.

Register for show

Make certain to visit FairEntry and register for our show. We have a strict registration deadline. Please be aware of the dates. Registration deadline is June 23, 2024. Additional $25 fee per participant assessed as a late fee after the deadline. Late deadline June 24- July 7, 2024

*** you must be registered with 4-H/FFA prior to registering for our show. Verification of 4-H and FFA registration will be completed by SLCo Show

Tag your animal(s)

Whether you are tagging in SLC or with your agent, all animals must be tagged in the appropriate timeframe.

All animals preparing for the SLCJunior Livestock show must be tagged with a state approved tag by preset state dates. To assist with this we will be available for tagging on two dates and additional dates by appointment only.

Please be prepared to show proof of 4-H registration. (Screenshot of z-suite registration is accepted).

Bastian Agricultural Center (BAC). Tagging will be next to the racetrack office on the North section of the BAC.

April 29 9:00-10:00 am Steers, lambs, goats, hogs

May 18th 9:00-10:00 am Lambs, goats, hogs

Additional times are by appointment only on March 5, April 2, May 7

If you desire one of these times please contact VP Scott Taggart at 801-209-0025, otherwise we will see you on April 29 or May 18
If you do not attend one of the taggings or are located out of county you must contact your representatives to tag your animals. There will be NO exceptions, you will not show if your animal is not properly tagged and verified.

DEADLINE

Steer: April 29, 2024

All other species: June 8, 2024

Tagging procedures: When you approach the tagging location please leave your animals in the trailer/crates/vehicle. After you have filled out appropriate paperwork and paid for your tags a representative will come to your animal and tag them. It is vitally important for record keeping of the state tags that you adhere to the procedures. Please be prepared to show proof of 4-H registration/membership.
