Sierra is originally from Madera, Ca where she grew up raising and showing livestock. After competing on the 2012 National Championship team at Redlands Community College in El Reno, she judged at Chico State University and received her degree in Ag. Education. She spent six years as a high school ag teacher in California before moving to Oregon in 2021 to be an animal science instructor and head livestock judging coach at Linn-Benton Community College
